No.10 I am so unfit!!! But I have a good reason! Well lots of excuses mainly.

What have I been doing for the last month? Bet you think I've been training so hard that I simply haven't had time  to update you on my latests rides?? That I've been so dedicated on reaching the next milestone of 100 miles that I've lived and breathed cycling and only cycling?? Ermmm no. Sorry. Its fairto say that I have taken my eye of the ball. It's probably best to explain with a few pictures.

These pictures are a representation of the types of food and liquid consumed in the last 4 weeks (those who know me well will appreciate nothing unusual here lol) It in no way represents the actual amount consumed.

I'm sure you can appreciate the dedication and time needed for this. Which sadly has left little time for cycling. 

Truth is, that in the last month, I have only completed about 30 miles. 1 of those miles was to tackle a hill I've always considered crazy. Wasn't sure if I would be capable or not but it seemed the cider and cream teas gave me enough fuel :-) Did think my lungs had exploded afterwards though!

Here is the reason:

There have been far too many reminders recently that life is precious. A lot of sadness and pain has been coped with by focusing on what is truly important. I have great memories created recently. Yes I have a lot of work to do to get my fitness level back to what it was. Do I regret not keeping focused? Not one bit :)))
